Zitro Interactive Receives Malta Gaming Authority Class 4 License

Leading provider of video bingo games for the international gambling industry Zitro today announced that Zitro Interactive, its digital arm, has been granted a Class 4 gaming license by the Malta Gaming Authority. Thus, the company has become the first one to be licensed to provide this type of offering by the Maltese gambling regulator.

Zitro received the license after passing a stringent licensing review and meeting all the necessary requirements posed by the Malta Gaming Authority.

Zitro Interactive has pointed out that it would focus its attention on expanding its reach as a supplier of online casino content for the international iGaming industry. Major gambling operators like Codere in Mexico, Caliente, Suertia, Betmotion, and Playbonds are among the company’s major clients. Being granted a Maltese gaming license would certainly help Zitro and its interactive division deliver on its expansion strategy. The company said that its titles are to go live with more internationally recognized online casino brands in the months to come.

Commenting on the latest announcement, Zitro Interactive Divisional Director Rais Busom said that obtaining a Malta gaming license will certainly boost the online division’s pride as it comes as an acknowledgement for its work and as a step forward towards more “successes to come.”

Zitro CEO Sebastián Salat commented that his company is committed to establishing itself as a leader in the gambling industry and online expansion would certainly help it achieve this. The license granted by the Malta Gaming Authority is yet another important progress towards that objective, the executive added.

With the Global Gaming Expo slated to start on Monday, September 26, it is also important to note that Zitro will have a stand at the gambling industry’s largest show to annually take place, thus being able to showcase its latest products.

Earlier this week, Zitro announced that it has enhanced its sales department as part of its newly introduced growth plan for the company’s establishment as a global leader in the provision of bingo products and services for both the land-based and online gaming markets. Nadège Teyssedre has joined the provider as Regional Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Inés Pérez has been appointed as Marketing Manager to take charge of Zitro’s operational marketing policies and corporate communications.

In addition to this, the company announced that current New Business Development Director Alfonso Sánchez has taken the Corporate Accounts and Expansion Manager for Spain role.
